Vacationing in Hawaii – A Little Something for Everyone
What kind of vacation is your dream vacation? Is it a romantic getaway with secluded beaches and evenings spent at the quiet restaurant with soft music and excellent 5-star cuisine? Or is it an outdoor adventure with hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing? Or are you interested in history and culture? Maybe you don’t want to give up your night life with bar hopping and music but still want to spend your vacation days on the beach? Well, all of that you can find on the beautiful islands of Hawaii.

Oahu is the island you need to choose if you are interested in the night life – after all, Honolulu sits on this island. Big Island is the only island where you can witness volcanic eruptions. Maui is the place where humpback whales come to give birth to their calves. Kauai is famous for its lush tropical forests and Waimea Canyon which is often called Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Lanai may be your choice if you want luxury accommodations without crowds of tourists. Molokai is the most natural island with a lot of outdoor fun.
If you absolutely can’t decide on which island to choose you can always get a vacation package which will take you island hopping. In this kind of Hawaii vacation you will spend from two to three days on one island and than move to the next one. By choosing this vacation package you will be able to enjoy more than one island, usually two to three.
You can also consider buying a Hawaii cruise vacation package. Your cruise ship will visit all islands and you will need to unpack only once. On the other hand, you usually will not be able to spend more than one day on any given island.
When choosing you Hawaii vacation package, you need to consider all things mentioned. Obviously, your preferences in entertainment and your financial situation will determine your vacation package. It can include flight, hotel, rental car, and even some tours. You can also customize your package by deciding against rental car if you are on the island with well developed public transportation (like Oahu) or if you are not interested in driving around much.
